FRONT YARD

Our original front yard landscaping was a complete after thought put in by the home builder as a requirement to meet the communities standards.  It featured little more than a spit of grass and an awkwardly placed swale to collect rain water.  It's south facing perspective meant it was constantly baked by the sun and with an aggressive slope that drained every drop of water towards the sidewalk, keeping the grass alive was a constant challenge.  So, in 2022 I spent the better part of 3-months reengineering the space into a more useable and functional space.
